My work in mass spectrometry began in 2010 while working toward my Ph. D. at Purdue University in Scott McLuckey’s research group, where I focused on gas-phase ion chemistry and MS instrument development.  Upon completing that work in 2015, I moved to OSU for a postdoctoral appointment with Vicki Wysocki, further working on MS instrument development and native MS.  Afterward, I worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific for five years in protein MS and electron microscopy before coming back to OSU.   Within the CCIC-MSP facility, I provide a range of services such as accurate and nominal mass measurements through our high-resolution FT or TOF instruments with both ESI (or nano ESI) and MALDI, solid phase extraction of customer samples, and online buffer exchange for native protein complex analysis.  I also provide training for would-be self-op users for MALDI (Bruker ultrafleXtreme, solariX 15 T FT-ICR) and direct infusion ESI experiments (Q Exactive platforms, solariX 15 T-FT-ICR).
