Ohio State's NMR Facility maintains state-of-the-art instrumentation for research and educational use. Our rates support facility operations while ensuring broad access to advanced NMR capabilities.

Service rates vary by:

  • User affiliation (Ohio State vs external)
  • Time of use (standard vs overnight)
  • Technical assistance needs
  • Instrument type

User Fees

Important Notes

  • 30-minute minimum charge for technical assistance and instrument time
  • Billing increments:
    • 15-min: 600 (CBEC/Riffe), 700 (Riffe)
    • 30-min: 800 (Riffe), 800WB/NB (CBEC), 850 (CBEC)
    • 1-hour: 1200 Gateway (CBEC)
  • DNP radicals available at additional cost (includes cooling time)
  • Strict cancellation policy enforced (see User Policies)

Example: 8 hours on 800 Riffe (OSU user) = (4 × $14.00) + (4 × $11.50) = $102.00
