Acknowledgments

Grant Support Requirements

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Science Foundation (NSF) require proper acknowledgment of grant support when using the CCIC Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility resources.

These citations are critically important performance metrics when reporting our annual accomplishments and research productivity to funding agencies. Proper acknowledgement directly impacts our continued funding and the future success of the NMR Facility.

Required Acknowledgments

Any research project that received support from our facility, including data analysis, consultation, method development, or manuscript preparation assistance, must include the following acknowledgments in all current and future publications:

Required in ALL Manuscripts

  • "We acknowledge resources from the Campus Chemical Instrumentation Center Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility, The Ohio State University. This facility is supported in part by funding from OSU's Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge."

Instrument-Specific Acknowledgments

  • Bruker 800 MHz Aeon: “The Bruker 800 MHz Aeon instrument was supported by NIH Award Number Grant S10 OD012303
  • Bruker 1.2 GHz:The Bruker 1.2 GHz NMR instrument was funded by NSF grant RI-1 1935913.

Staff Acknowledgments (if not a co-author)

  • We thank and acknowledge the support of [Dan Conroy/Trent Franks/Alex Hansen/Chunhua Yuan] for assistance in experimental design, data collection, and analysis of NMR data and useful discussions and feedback on this manuscript.
