The Ohio State University's Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) facilitates and supports the translation of scientific discoveries into innovations that improve health for all. To achieve this mission and advance translational research, the CTSI awards vouchers to provide funding support for investigators who require assistance from an Ohio State or a Nationwide Children’s Hospital core service to enable preliminary work and generate data for new or ongoing projects. Vouchers may also be used to secure fee-based core services for expert consultation services with the ultimate goal of furthering clinical and translational research. These vouchers are intended to be used on projects that have an immediate need for the service ("just in time" data). To facilitate innovative research, the CTSI will award vouchers to Ohio State and Nationwide Children's Hospital investigators worth up to $3,000 and up to $5,000 for new collaborations of projects involving researchers from two different colleges of institutions. CTSI processes applications on a rolling basis.
